Fred Schwartz currently serves as president of the Asian American Hotel Owners Association (AAHOA). Schwartz took over his current position four years ago after more than 18 years in the hospitality industry. Prior to joining AAHOA, Schwartz managed the hotel program for the 1996 Olympic Games held in Atlanta. He also held senior management positions with Crowne Plaza, Hyatt Hotels and Warwick International.

Schwartz remains an active force in the hospitality industry and in his community. He currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Atlanta Convention & Visitors Bureau, on the Advisory Council for the Niagara University College of Hospitality and Tourism, on the Advisory Board of the Tisch Center for Hospitality, Tourism, and Travel Administration, and on the Executive Committee for the Travel Business Roundtable.

Schwartz is a graduate of Queens College in New York.
